I got quotes from a few flooring contractors, but these folks were the most impressive. They emailed me estimate for floor sanding within one day after I responded to their online questions. These guys have a really good website and they are certified by National Wood Flooring Association. They followed through with responses to all my concerns regarding the project. It really helped my anxiety that I was able to exchange a lot of emails with them. You do not do these projects very often. Once started, everything was done in a timely fashion and everybody was very professional and courteous. The cost of the work was very reasonable for the quality. I got also advice about gaps on our other floors and proper maintenance. I would highly recommend them.

After using their special testers and moisture meters, they suggested that we should wait a few months before sanding floors. We had just water leak repaired in the crawlspace and floors were not dry enough. Other companies gave us quick quotes for quick job. We liked that they gave us a formal written estimate using email. They charged a very reasonable price. After a few months they tested floors again and floor were ready. They started and finished the job in the time that they told us that they were going to finish. The crew was professional, courteous, and personal. They also repaired 2 broken boards. You can not tell them apart. I could not be more satisfied with this project. The floor looks beautiful. Working with them completely changed my outlook about dealing with contractors. Communication was good, including emails, and pictures sharing. The estimate was fast and accurate. This was a stress free project with great results. I could not have recommended them more!

Chicagoland Flooring removed carpet and installed new hardwood flooring in the foyer, living room, and dining room. They also refinished hardwood floor in the kitchen with water based finish. They did excellent work, they were very responsive to all my questions. The manager of the company was extremely professional throughout the entire process. The individuals doing the work were prompt and hard-working. I expected to have dust throughout the house and they did such a great job of preventing it. I was incredibly pleased that such a major job could be done in a way that did not cause any inconvenience to me. The floors look great. I would highly recommend their services.
