Description: Join us at Cal State University, Dominguez Hills to hear Barbara Schultz, who wrote a book about Pancho Barnes titled Pancho, talk about Pancho Barnes, who was the first woman stunt pilot in Hollywood and a rival of Amelia Earharts. A small exhibit of Pancho Barnes artifacts will accompany her talk. Following Barbaras talk, the documentary The Legend of Pancho Barnes by Nick Sparks will be shown. The documentary chronicles the thrilling life and extraordinary times of avaition pioneer Florence Lowe Pancho Barnes, one of the most colorful and accomplished women pilots of the earliest 20th century, and an ill-behaved woman who made history.
