16th Alabama Living History Regiment at Point Park

Details: The 16th Alabama Living History Regiment will conduct Infantry demonstrations for park visitors at Point Park, located on historic Lookout Mountain. The 16th Alabama Regiment was part of Lowrey`s Brigade, commanded by General Mark Lowrey, Army of Tennessee - the principle Confederate army fighting in the Chattanooga area in the late summer and fall of 1863. The 16th Alabama Regiment, along with the rest of General Patrick R. Cleburne`s division, successfully defended Ringgold Gap on November 27, 1863.
