In 4 weeks, we will go through all the necessary elements to create your alter-ego, concoct your first routine (or polish an old one), and get ready for the stage as we go through:

Character Development and Storytelling

Choreography and Attitude

Mastering the Tease

Costuming, Hair and Makeup Styling

Polishing it off and getting ready for the stage!

Then to top it off students will be invited to perform in an optional graduation show right here in Hollywood!

More about the class...Some performance background is preffered but not essential. There is a maximum of 15 students per class. The graduation show will be held in Hollywood in Maarch 2012, and is entirely optional.

More about the teacher...Lola LaBelle is a multi-award winning burlesque star who has most recently been headlining shows across Europe, Australia and the UK. With a professional background in acting, Lola's brand of burlesque goes beyond 1950's bump-n-grind and into theatre, dance, and cabaret. Her goal is to help her students achieve their dreams for performance, from glamorous dita-esque striptease to traditional vaudevillian clowning. Lola brings over three years as headline artist, two years as a judge on the UK's popular show "Burlesque Idol" and over six years of performance art teaching to her classes.
