I believe a language program would be an excellent addition to the school. The after school program they have is terrible. When I enrolled my child, I thought they would help with the homework. WRONG!! The students are expected to do it on their own even if they don't understand it. What's the point? Also, the lunches are terrible. I recommend bringing a lunch from home. The office staff can certainly be a little friendlier. I just think that the principal and her office should be more on top of things such as dates that pictures will be returned, dates that candy orders will be delivered. When you call to ask the office a question, youy usually get an ' I am not sure, you have to ask the principal.' I think everyone in the office should be aware of what is going on in the school.” Posted By: parent Quality Score: 2 2005-01-24 “My son has special needs and we went through tough times to get an evaluation going for speech therapy among other things. It seems to us that the process time was delayed unnecessary while our son was getting zero services. From one evaluation to the next he was still getting no services. Calling main offices did not help either. Most of the blame came down on us the parents independent therapists and early child hood specialists warned us about such complex process and watch closely what the school is doing. Still, it seems that in order to get the most basic services, which my son is entitled to by the way, we have to keep fighting.My understanding is that its not like that in other schools.
